@dshanske listened to you on WP Weekly Podcast. Really interested in trying some Indieweb tools. Can’t get Bridgy to connect to my site/Instagram. Any pointers to where to get support for Bridgy? Just keep getting errors when trying to connect.
What is the error you are seeing? Happy to try helping.
If I just put in the site url: wabu.life into Bridgy Instagram page I get:
HTTP Error 400: 400 Bad Request The server could not comply with the request since it is either malformed or otherwise incorrect. IndieAuth verification failed: 500 WordPress › Error html
… followed by a bunch of CSS. Then:
“The site is experiencing technical difficulties.”
This comes after the authentication page where I click “Authenticate” to make the connection between my site & Bridgy.
…if I go to the Bridgy plugin settings & click the button to “Register for Instagram”, it takes me to the brid.gy Instagram page with this message at the top:
“Couldn’t fetch your web site: Missing required parameter: user_url”
