I need to stop ordering keyboards. I’m not sure why I keep trying out new ones.

Playing with the new IndieAuth update for WordPress, version 4.3.0
Spent the weekend, due work, at the Dublin Hebrew Congregation for Rosh Hashanah. While, I’m not thrilled at how this played out, the community was very welcoming to someone who showed up last minute. Hope I get a chance to return in future.
I just compared two identically branded packs of crew socks. When I say brand, same product name, same company…but one is 60% Polyester and 38% cotton, the other is 58% cotton and 38% polyester. What is going on here?
I have hit a milestone, I just replaced the last light switch in my apartment with a smart switch.
Do all Irish tour bus drivers secretly wish to be singers?
Last day for the Aer Lingus Terminal 5 lounge. Tomorrow they break it down and move the stuff over to Terminal 7.
Standing at JFK Terminal 5, Sam Cooke’s A Change is Gonna Come is on the PA. I wonder why they didn’t do an airline themed cover…A Change Fee is gonna come.
We’re coming close to releasing Version 5.0 of Webmentions for WordPress. This is the culmination of a long process of rewriting(and a few long periods of not) the entire plugin. There are a lot of low level improvements that will set the stage for more in the future. Entirely new parsing code, rewritten display code, new storage. The reason it has been so long is the migration of data to the new storage. There is more for future, but that will occur after this version is released.
I’ve been updating my servers to slightly less old and slow ones. It started with just one…but it seems like there is a knockon effect as now I want to get rid of all the bottlenecks I have.
I had stopped watching the Daily Show regularly and only looked at clips…but I’ve been tuning in on and off to see if any of the hosts are people I’d want to watch regularly. I have been surprised who I liked, disliked, and for what reason.
Enjoying the overture for NYGASP’s staging of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Gondoliers. Never seen this. Love that they’ve started airing these a few months after the live performance.
Was busy on Thursday, so finally got around to my traditional Groundhog Day movie watching. I forgot the late Willie Garson had a small part in the movie.
My mother told me she hired a handyman named Julio. Thanks to Paul Simon, I keep asking her if she found him down by the schoolyard.
Over the last day, I continued to add little features to enhance my new venue feature. One of the features was to display images on venues attached to checkins at that venue. In order to take full advantage of the feature, I’ve decided to add more photos to my old checkins that I took at the time, but never posted. Went back to the end of 2020.
