Ticket to Ride – Old West is a map expansion. The game introduces three city pieces. Each player must put down one city in reverse start order before the game starts. Players may only build continuous track from their starting city.
Additional cities can be placed down when claiming a route by adding an extra pair of train cards. When a player connects to a city already claimed by another player, the other player gets the points. When they connect from a city they claimed to one claimed by another player, they share the points. When a player connects two cities they both claimed, they get double points.
