Byways of Europe is an unofficial variant of the Ticket to Ride, designed to behave as the inverse of the Big Cities variant.
The big cities are London, Paris, Madrid, Roma, Berlin, Wien, Athina, Angora, and Moskva, so in this variant, nothing touches any of these cities.
Long routes aren’t used in this version. If you choose to play with a bonus, it would be the Globetrotter bonus from the USA expansion.
Deal 5 cards, must keep at least 2. When drawing additional cards, draw 4, must keep at least 1.
