Website Version 2
Announcing the release of the next version of this site. Shortly after the last announcement, I started a complete redesign of the site, and after two weeks, though not perfect, I’m putting it live. All future enhancements will be done in public view. Again…comments anyone?

New design looks awesome, congratulations! No small task writing a WP theme from the ground up. I really like how your notes/asides have a larger font than articles. Think I will experiment with something like that!
One tiny suggestion: have you tried moving the social media icons below your profile picture, and making the gap between the header and first post smaller?
David, what I would change are the alignments of all the boxes and their contents, so they start all on the same vertical pixel, etc. This is especially bad in the reply-form and the “Next note”-Link. I would also add more padding to many of the boxes, and here too use the same padding everywhere. (See especially padding-bottom of the search). The social media icons should be left aligned with the text above them. I’m impressed of the work you put in into this WP-theme!
I never styled the reply form actually. It’s on my list. It is default WordPress. As for the search box and the bio box with the social media icons, you can see the older version where the icons were elsewhere. Those are areas I’ve identified I want to look at in the future. I have some backend stuff I’ve been fiddling with.
