Ticket to Ride Italy is a map expansion.
This expansion introduces ferry card. Spaces with wave symbols which require either a ferry or a locomotive card. A ferry card can be used for up to two spaces with a wave symbol, a locomotive only for 1. You can draw one ferry card in a turn(like a locomotive., but cannot have more than 2 in hand.
