Ticket to Ride – Heart of Africa is a map expansion pack. It introduces terrain cards. Two terrain cards are placed face up with the train card. Picking is identical to picking train cards, and can be done at the same time.
When claiming a route of 1-3 you may use 1 terrain card to double the point value. When claiming a route of 4-6 you may use 2 terrain cards to double the point value.
