- After the Nuremberg Laws, Jews could be easily identified.
- The next step was segregating them - allowing them to live only in certain areas. These areas were known as ghettos.
- Jews from the country were deported into city ghettos. (Click here for film from the Lodz Ghetto)
- Eventually, the Nazis sealed the ghettos and Jews weren't allowed to leave.
